We purchased a home that was built by Sosas Signature Homes and Rodney and Roxanne Sosa. At the
time of purchase, it was new construction. The purchase date was October 28, 2019. The home was
located in the Summit Ridge Subdivision in Mico, TX. Home values range from $500,000 to over
$1,500,000. This is a gated subdivision with lots ranging from 2 to 20 acres. Our house consists of
approximately 3,000 square feet on a 2-acre lot. We moved in early 2020.
In our opinion, our home is well designed, both in and out. The outside design goes well with the
“hill country” look, including natural stone, large wood beams, large porch/patio in both the front and
back. Inside the house, all of the rooms have ceilings ranging from 10 to 16 feet. We were especially
drawn to the large kitchen with all Thermador appliances and the excellently designed master suite with
its large bath, walk in closets, etc.
We have been very pleased with our home. Rodney and Roxanne have paid a great deal of
attention to detail, both in the construction of the house and the finishes of the interior. | have some
experience in construction and can tell that the infrastructure of the house is well built and some areas
beyond minimum requirements. In the interior, they used high quality fixtures and appliances. The
subcontractors, that we have used for some maintenance items, have been very professional and
responsive.
As if any purchase of a newly constructed home, there was a small “punch list” of items that
needed attention. Both prior and AFTER closing, Rodney and Roxanne were at the house daily meeting
with subcontractors to make sure the items were properly addressed. All of the items were completed in
a timely manner and without any follow up on our part. Since we have moved in, they have continued to
promptly address several small maintenance items to our satisfaction.
In conclusion, we can highly recommend the Sosas. We believe that it would difficult to find a
builder with as much attention to quality of construction and attention to detail as they do. We are
extremely satisfied with our home and look forward to our life there. We believe that the Sosas will be a
great addition to The Canyons and you will be very pleased with their contributions to the area.
